Olympic Air, erstwhile operating as Olympic Airways and Olympic Airlines is a Greek airline. It came into being in September 2009 and since has been offering travel options to hundreds of customers. It operates out of its hub in Athens International Airport. Rhodes International Airport serves as the airline’s secondary hub. Its headquarter is based in Athens International Airport. In February 2010, the airline merged operations with Aegean Airlines hence cutting out competition from a rival carrier. At present, it flies to over 30 destinations across Europe. Tirana, Athens, Milos, Kos, Bucharest, and Istanbul are some of the cities served by the airline. It has signed codeshare deals with Aegean Airlines, Bulgaria Air, Delta, Etihad, KLM, and Tarom. Its fleet consists of Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, Bombardier Dash 8 Q100, and Airbus A319-100 series planes. Its frequent flyer program is termed Travelair Club. It is a pet friendly airline and allows pets to be transported on some of its routes. The airline caters to the sentiments of different passengers hence offers different meal types that include baby meal for infants up to 2 years, children's meal, vegetarian lactose free lunch, diabetic meals, lactose free lunch, fruits, seafood, lunch for Muslims, gluten meal, vegetarian meal, and Kosher meals.
