Georgian Airways, the national carrier of the Republic of Georgia, is headquartered in the capital city of Tbilisi. Georgian Airways initially began its flight operations in September 1994 under the name of Airzena. A privately owned airline, Georgian Airways presently conducts services to various destinations around the world from its main hub at Tbilisi International Airport. The destinations being served by the airline include Kiev, Donetsk, Odessa, Kharkiv, Baku, Sulaymaniah, Kutaisi, Erbil, Vienna, Paris, Tel Aviv, Batuni, Sochi, Moscow, Baghdad and Amsterdam. Georgian Airways operates flights to these destinations with the help of its codeshare partners including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, airBaltic, Austrian Airlines and Air France. Georgian Airways owns a fleet of seven aircrafts. These include one Bombardier Challenger 850, three Bombardier CRJ200LR, one Bombardier CRJ100ER, one Boeing 737-700 and one Boeing 737-500.
